Following extensive development and positive feedback, we're thrilled to share the clear roadmap for QubiSet, our solution to set up and monitor lighting networks with RDM-capable devices (via Art-Net or RDMnet). The overwhelmingly positive feedback received from visitors at our booth at ProLight & Sound strongly validated our vision and confirmed the significant demand for a dedicated monitoring and setup tool for professional lighting networks.
We have defined a clear roadmap outlining our development path leading to the Open Beta stage:

QubiSet Alpha
Ready by the end of June 2025, the QubiSet Alpha will establish a strong, foundational platform for our product. Alpha testing will be conducted internally with a select group under controlled conditions. To get QubiSet ready for this, we focus on having an installation-ready product with the following features:
Desktop Installation
- Seamless setup for Windows, Linux and Mac
- Focus on a smooth, guided installation process
IP-Address Setup
- Intuitive tools to help users configure network settings
- Understandable alerts when IP address issues or conflicts are detected, making troubleshooting easy
Ordering of Fixtures
- We are implementing free and open standard protocols only (Art-Net, RDMnet, sACN, RDM)
- Protocol limitations mean we cannot automatically detect the physical order of fixtures downstream of a node
- For our network view, we give users the possibility to manually arrange fixture order and save it
QubiSet Closed Beta
Our Closed Beta will expand significantly until late August / early September 2025, introducing core features including:
Mobile App Support
Monitor your lighting setup from anywhere with our upcoming Android and iOS mobile apps.
Create and Manage Fixture Sets
Our Sets feature will make it possible to not only save the current state of your lighting network, but you can also activate a saved Set later to see in the graphical Network View what exactly has changed since then. Once you are happy with the connected devices, you can apply the configuration from the saved Set and you are ready for the show!
Fixture List
Apart from the graphical Network View, we are introducing a traditional table-based view of your devices. The Fixture List will be a structured way of viewing the fixtures in your network and making changes to their configuration.
Bulk Edit
When you have hundreds of fixtures, you don't want to set every single one up on its own. Enter our Bulk Edit feature, which allows you to multi-select and edit as many fixtures and nodes at once as you like in both the Network View and the Fixture List.
